The Irish Association of Corporate Treasurers (IACT) is inviting entries for its Annual IACT Treasury Achievement Award.
This award will recognise projects or initiatives led by Irish Treasurers that advance the development of treasury and inspire treasury professionals to excel. Projects with implementation period between 1 January 2024 and 31 December 2024 are eligible to enter and they will be judged on the following criteria:
Innovation - Do new things or do fundamental things in a new way
Reach - The project could be multi regional or sectoral
Environment, Sustainability, Governance - Contribute to make the world a better place
Excellence – Demonstrate a best in class approach Economics - Achieve financial or commercial benefits
Inspiring - The “wow” factor
For each of the criteria, the jury will evaluate the success of the project relative to the prevailing business conditions.
Deadline for entry is 22 August 2025 and the winning entry will be announced at the IACT Annual Conference on 25th November at the Convention Centre Dublin. The successful entry will be put forward to represent Ireland for the 2026 Annual European Association of Corporate Treasurers (EACT) award. From this panel of nominations, a jury will select 5 finalists and Treasurers across Europe will vote to choose the overall winner to be presented during the EACT Summit next year.
As in previous years, development is designed in the sense of a positive evolution which can result from innovation, contribution to sustainable growth, setting of standards for best practises and similar. In addition and importantly, the project submitted should have been started in production or implemented between 1 January 2024 and 31 January 2024.
